Description
This presentation describes the first steps needed to implement an incident command process applicable to multiple victim incidents, especially for active shooter or hostile events. Participants will be guided through the positional responsibilities required for roles necessary to command and control multiple patient incidents from the first unit's arrival. Personnel, irrespective of title, position, or rank can implement this system and begin the command process. From first responder to paramedic or firefighter, victim survivability remains higher when assignments are delegated and victim's are accounted for.
